    DAA operates out of a modern facility constructed in 2015. Located at the Greater Sudbury Airport (CYSB) the building has plenty of office and classroom space and a 21,500 square foot hangar floor. DAA also has its own Approved Maintenance Organization with 5 full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineers on site.

On August 17, 2014 Discovery Aviation Academy hosted its second annual K4K Fun Fly Day. The fun-packed event included a BBQ, static displays, kid’s activities as well as sight-seeing flights over the city of Sudbury in support of the Kicx for Kids Charity. On September 21st, Discovery Aviation Academy (DAA) employees and students teamed up as the Birddogs to take part in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Pulling for Wheels of Hope.
